MOESIA INFERIOR, Marcianopolis. Elagabalus, with Julia Soaemias. AD 218-222. Æ Pentassarion (28mm, 10.64 g, 6h). Julius Antonius Seleucus, consular legate. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Elagabalus right vis à vis draped bust of Soaemias left / Homonoia standing left, holding phiale and cornucopia. AMNG I -; Hristova & Jekov -; Varbanov -. Good VF, green patina, slight double striking. All the issues of Elagabalus and Soaemias are very rare, this particular variety unpublished.

Although off center towards 3 o’clock, the end of the obverse legend can be read and it clearly ends AIMIC.
